Answers about your school, without a two-week wait
The questions a head gets asked rarely need new data — the data already exists, spread across four systems and a shared drive. The problem is the assembly time.
What the week actually looks like
Every question becomes a project
A governor asks how Year 9 is progressing against last year. The answer exists, but producing it means someone exporting three spreadsheets and reconciling them by hand — so the answer arrives after the meeting.
You find out too late
A cohort drifting, a year group with an attendance pattern, a subject where results slipped — these are visible in the data long before they are visible in a report someone remembers to run.
Numbers disagree with each other
The roll figure from admissions does not match the one from the registrar, because they are counting different things on different days. Nobody is wrong, and that is the problem.
What changes
- Attainment, progress and attendance visible per year group without commissioning a report
- Roll movement — joiners, leavers, in-year churn — tracked as it happens rather than reconstructed
- One set of numbers that admissions, the registrar and leadership all read from
- Records inspection-ready because they are maintained continuously, not assembled before a visit

Questions this role asks
Can I see the whole school without asking someone to build it?
Yes. Attainment, attendance and roll figures are available per year group and cohort directly, which is the point — the delay in most schools is assembly time, not missing data.
We run more than one campus. Does that work?
Yes. Each campus keeps its own data with its own staff permissions, and group-level reporting reads across them without merging the records themselves.
How much of my time does implementation take?
The heaviest ask is a single decision-maker who can settle questions about grading scales and report formats quickly. That is usually a head or a deputy, and it is a few hours across the project rather than a standing commitment.
