Built around Key Stages, attainment and progress
A student record that speaks the language your teachers already use — year groups and Key Stages, attainment against expected standard, and progress measured from a starting point rather than a single grade.
How assessment is handled
Attainment and progress kept apart
A grade on its own hides the child who arrived two years behind and gained three. Attainment against expected standard and progress from baseline are tracked as separate measures, so both conversations are possible.
Key Stage structure, not generic year levels
EYFS through Key Stage 5 are modelled properly, so cohort reporting groups the way your leadership team already thinks and end-of-Key-Stage summaries do not need rebuilding by hand.
Target grades and gap analysis
Working-at grades sit next to targets so underperformance surfaces while there is still time to intervene, rather than at results day.
GCSE and A-Level tracking
Subject-level entries, predicted grades and forecast versus actual comparison at the point results arrive, for exam-year cohorts.
What the student record carries
- Baseline data held alongside current attainment, so progress is derived rather than typed in twice
- House and form-group structures used for pastoral reporting as well as academic
- Report cycles configured per Key Stage, because Year 2 and Year 12 do not report the same way
- Historic grades retained when a student moves year groups, so multi-year trend lines survive
Why this matters in the UAE
British curriculum schools in the UAE run larger and more transient cohorts than their UK counterparts — families arrive and leave mid-year on visa cycles. That makes the joiner and leaver path as important as the assessment model itself: a student who arrives in February needs a baseline, and a student who leaves in March needs a complete record to take with them. Both are handled without a spreadsheet in between.
Frequently asked questions
Does it handle EYFS as well as secondary?
Yes. EYFS through Key Stage 5 are modelled, and report cycles are configured per Key Stage so early years reporting does not inherit a secondary school template.
Can we keep our own assessment point structure?
Yes. Assessment points, grading scales and report cycles are configurable per school rather than fixed, because no two British curriculum schools track identically.
What happens to a student who joins mid-year?
A baseline can be recorded on entry so progress is measured from where the student actually started, not from a blank field or an assumed starting point.
